The Adornamented Series values the daily culture and practices of my Chicanx and Latinx community as worthy of reflection and art making. Each painted item cherishes and shares these daily practices and culture by making high art from hot sauce bottles that my community uses in their daily lives, whether or not they go to galleries or museums.
