Invasion of the Fresnans

Fresno storytellers from the video Somewhere In Between, as well as Fresno friends and family gathered at Los Angeles art gallery ForYourArt to create a Central Valley cultural presence. The Fresnans blended in the crowd and used the gallery to come together in a space where folks from the region commonly wouldn’t gather. Malcolm Sosa, a musician from Fresno living in LA, performed songs about growing up in the Central Valley and the heartaches of moving away to a larger city.
