Saas-Fee Open Mic

This project came about following a month-long study of art and cognitive capitalism with the Saas-Fee Summer Institute of Art at the headquarters of Spike Art Quarterly, a bilingual contemporary art magazine published in Berlin. Flores opened the lecturn to students and community members to teach their own lessons and read poetry and share their notes from the month-long session. Author Joseph Rios video called in from Los Angeles to read his poem The Fellowship Application, which was amplified through the room by a microphone.
